Bastrop is one of the oldest towns in Texas, and it feels like it. Downtown sits right on the Colorado River, with historic storefronts along Main Street and older homes on the shady streets nearby. Just east of town, the Lost Pines stretch out around Bastrop State Park, a stand of loblolly pines you won't find anywhere else this close to Austin.

Do you treat older historic homes downtown?
