A Season-by-Season Look
Winter. Cedar pollen peaks. Keep windows shut on windy days and check your HVAC filter more often. Our Cedar Season and Indoor Air guide explains why.
Spring. Oak pollen and grass pollen take over, and rains bring lake levels and humidity up. This is a good time for a fresh filter and a look at your AC before summer.

Fall. Doors open again on cooler days, and many families host holiday guests. A whole-home reset before the holidays is a popular choice.
What the Whole-Home Dry Fog Treatment Does
Our treatment uses the patented Pure Maintenance VaPURE dry fog system in two steps. First, a very fine dry fog of a hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid solution travels through every room, closet and the ductwork. It helps reduce the bio-load and neutralize odors on hard surfaces, then breaks down into water, oxygen and vinegar. Second, a surface protectant is applied the same way.
Because the droplets are so tiny, they float and settle without getting furniture or floors wet. We use gentle positive pressure so the fog reaches every part of the house, including guest suites and upstairs rooms. The dry fog treatment is done in one day. Our lake house is only used some weekends. Does that change anything?

Do I need to do anything with the AC first?
If the system isn't cooling well or the drain line backs up, get it fixed first. In the Austin area, our sister company Gold Eagle Services handles HVAC work, or you can call your local HVAC company.
