Why Indoor Air Matters in Lakeway
Lakeway sits on the hills above Lake Travis, and the setting shapes the air inside your home. Homes here range from 1970s and 1980s houses near the original lake community to newer custom homes on hillside lots. Many have big windows, high ceilings, several living areas and more than one HVAC system.

What the Whole-Home Dry Fog Treatment Does
Pure Maintenance Austin uses the patented VaPURE dry fog system in two steps. First, a very fine dry fog of a hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid solution fills the home. With gentle positive pressure, it reaches every room, closet and surface, plus the ductwork for each system. It helps reduce the bio-load and neutralize odors on hard surfaces, then breaks down into water, oxygen and vinegar. Second, a surface protectant is applied the same way.

Lakeway FAQ
We're gone for part of the year. What should we do with the thermostat?
Don't just turn the AC off or set it very high. In our climate, the AC also pulls moisture out of the air, so a home that sits warm and closed can get damp and stale. Many homeowners set it a few degrees higher than normal and add a whole-home dehumidifier. Our sister company Gold Eagle Services can help you find the right setup.
Can you treat the house right before we come back?
Yes. Many people like to schedule a treatment just before they return or before guests arrive, so the house feels fresh on day one. We'll plan the timing with you at the consultation.
Does the treatment help with musty smells from the lake?
It can help reduce lingering odors from damp towels, gear and closed-up rooms. It does not fix the source of moisture. We don't perform or collect lab testing. If you'd like your air tested, or you've had a leak or visible growth, start with an independent state-licensed professional.
We have two or three AC systems. Do you treat all of them?
Yes. The fog moves through the ductwork of each system in the home, so every zone gets treated.
