Wimberley is Hill Country living at its best. Homes are tucked into cedar and live oak on rocky hillsides, and Cypress Creek and the Blanco River wind right through the village. People come from all over for Blue Hole and Jacob's Well, and plenty of them never want to leave.
That setting is beautiful, and it also shapes the air inside your home:

- Shade and creeks mean moisture. Homes under heavy tree cover or near the water stay damp longer after rain. Closets, bathrooms and lower rooms can start to smell musty.
- The Blanco River has flooded before. Longtime residents know high water can reach homes near the river. Any home that has taken on water needs proper drying and repairs first.
- Older cabins and custom homes. Many Wimberley homes have wood paneling, stone fireplaces, older ductwork or add-on rooms, which all collect dust and odors in their own ways.

A lot of Wimberley houses aren't lived in every day. Some are weekend getaways for Austin families. Others are cabins and cottages rented to visitors.

A Whole-Home Reset With Dry Fog

Our place sits empty most of the week. How do we keep it fresh?
Keep the AC running at a moderate setting instead of turning it off, and consider a dehumidifier set around 50%. Leave interior doors and closets open so air can move. A whole-home treatment can give the house a fresh start, and those habits help it stay that way.
Can you treat a guest cabin between bookings?
Often, yes. Most cabins and small homes are done in a day. We'll look at your booking calendar with you and find a good gap.
Our home took on water in a past flood. Can you help?
The first step is making sure the home was fully dried and repaired. We don't perform or collect lab testing. If you'd like your air tested, or you've had a leak or visible growth, start with an independent state-licensed professional. Once repairs are done, our treatment can be a good next step.
